Rather than putting the energiser on the ground, the earth stake takes it out of the moisture and creates an earth.

How It Works:

• Power is sent through the fence wire from the energizer.
• When an animal touches the fence, electricity flows through its body to the ground.
• The electricity must return to the energizer via the earth stake to complete the circuit.
• If the grounding is poor, the shock will be weak or ineffective.
